Thanks, Matt and Linda. Aside from being a great way to really improve and focus via the training beforehand, the tournament provided instant feedback for all the bad and the good- physically, mentally, emotionally, etc., giving me multiple, very tangible, things to work on. Though not fun to lose, it is a good motivator to improve.

I was able to get a copy of my fight from my opponent Robert (Peaceful Dragon school- Shuai Chaio and Taijiquan). I was fight #9 right after Matt Rosecan.

I didnt feel bad losing also- i tried my best and got countered on grappling attempts. "Invest is loss" to me... it was a win, i didnt get winded, injured, or knock-out, just needed to root and balance better and humbled to know what to work on for next time.

Onya, Matt. I enjoyed watching that. It's useful to have video to see what to work on later. They didn't allow any at my recent competition (forms and push hands). Hey, the audience were all supporting the other guy.... We need to send a cheer team along for our players. If one person from a school is competing, we all are. I hope you guys can hear the Aussies cheering from all the way over here Yay for anyone who gets out there and has a go. That's winning - having a go when most of the population won't. Competing amongst our classmates is good too but there's something extra about going into the worldwide arena amongst other schools, to take what we have and show it or test it.
