Hello,
I'm a newbie on cutting and start with cutting plastic bottles.
What types of cuts are suitable for cutting bottles at chest height and is for example a Pi cut possible if the bottle is flat on some kind of support.
Regards,
Piet

Re: cutting plastic bottles
A pi cut is certainly possible, as are all other downward cuts. In general, downard cuts will be easier to start with as they push the bottle onto the stands as you cut it. Once you have some practice under your belt, you'll be able to preform upward cuts, such as liao, as well. Just keep in mind that not all plastic bottles are created equal. Some clear plastic bottles can be as difficult to cut as thick bamboo. I suggest starting with white plastic jugs. They are the easiest to cut & you can get your technique right without having to use much power at all.PietvdHout wrote:... a newbie on cutting and start with cutting plastic bottles.
