Welcome to GRTC's new Chinese Swordsmanship Forum. We created this forum as a way for students in our lineage to ask questions about anything to do with Chinese swordsmanship from Basic Cuts to Swordplay to questions concerning historical conditions of practice & usage.

While Great River students specialize in Taiji Jian swordsmanship, we work to have a broad understanding of weapon arts & so practice other styles of swordsmanship (such as Miaodao) as auxiliary training.

Anyone who has studied Chinese Swordsmanship at GRTC, with Master Wang Yen-nian, with me at a seminar or purchased my book, "Chinese Swordsmanship, The Yang Family Taiji Jian Tradition, may particapate in this Discussion Forum.
